Easter Fun with the Mitchells

Sunday evening we headed over to Mimi & Granddad's to do an egg hunt with Adrianna & have dinner.  The girls had a blast playing with Addi!

After our morning at church, we got to dye eggs while Nana was still in town! (I decided this one might be more fun with a little help!).  So, after nap time I stripped 'em down & we headed outside.

The girls loved it & really got into it.

Easter Fun at Church

On Saturday morning before Easter our church held an egg hunt & family fun day.  When you first get there, they have different story tellers who tell the story of Easter before you head to the hunt.  It's a great thing that they do (maybe a little lost on my littles, but it never hurts to hear the Truth!).

The Bookstore Date

For Christmas I gave David 12 date envelopes to help us keep trying new things.  One was this idea for a bookstore date.

 Was it our most favorite thing we've ever done?  Well, probably not.  But we had a good time & it got us out of our routine.  We did enjoy laughing together & even learned things we didn't know.  I love that after a decade those things are still true.  I love dating this man.

All in all, it was time together - without kids, that ended in coffee & cards in Starbucks.  Such good things.
