bummer for the poor picture quality :(
the lighting was really bad & I was tired of waiting to take them!
at least the girl is cute :-)
What a big month for Hannah! LOTS of change & development! She's definitely transitioned out of just being a little "newborn" who lays around to being fully on the go. Such a fun stage of change everyday!
This month Hannah:
--started crawling on all 4s - time to baby proof again!
--puts EVERYTHING in her mouth & swallows - everyone's probably grateful that I have to sweep more now :-) already a few choking episodes - scary!
--pulls up to standing
--moves from all 4s to the sitting position
--climbs onto & over things
--is MUCH more verbal. In the past months she would go long periods of time with no noise coming from her at all, but now she makes LOTS of noise!
--found an interest in the TV& my phone! - she didn't use to even notice them, but now she hones in quickly if either are around.
--learned how to dance from Poppa! She stayed at my parents house for 4 days this month & came back swaying side to side anytime she hears music
--LOVE LOVE LOVES her sister. She always has, but this month they have started to "play" for the first time. It has got to be the biggest blessing for me so far. Kate will crawl & say "come on Hannah!" and H will try to keep up. So fun! I hope they're best friends!
--has officially started pureed solids: butternut squash, carrots, green beans (a little gagging!), peas, sweet potatoes, bananas, pears, peaches, apples, and avocado.
--started some finger foods - puffs & cheerios, bananas, avocados
--loves people - if there are people around, this girl is happy
--is fascinated by someone blowing raspberries & tries to do it herself
--still startles easily
--her sleep is not near as scheduled as Kate's was (and still is!). I could count on Kate to take the same naps everyday of the week - which probably was a benefit of being able to stay home more, etc. Hannah will go days on one schedule, then change it up a little. Last week, she was only taking a 1 hour morning nap, then a 3 hour afternoon nap, then 30-45 min catnap at night. This week, we're back to the 2 hours she's "supposed" to do. Oh well...she naps!
--Eating schedule - nurse/bottle - 8,12,4,8. Eats either 2 or 3 meals of solids - working my way towards doing 3 :-)
